It's strange how an array of negative events can destroy one man's motivation to continue working on something he has put years of his time in. In the last few months Overload has been in a negative spiral which I hope to break rather sooner than later.

It all started late last year when the Overload Gaming - Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory team were discovered to have cheated in several official matches. I personally do not condone cheating at all, and I expect the same of the organization I represent.

Thus I was shocked to find out my expectations had not been met - the cheats used by the W:ET team were actually delivered by one of our managers Kjell Goderis. Swift action was taken, and mister Goderis was removed from Overload Gaming, giving a blow to my own motivation but also destroying a time of glory in which Overload Gaming was regarded as one of the powerhouses in the Enemy Territory scene.

A few weeks later a second blow was delivered, the Counter-Strike 1.6 team in which Overload Gaming had invested vast amounts of resources, left us for a rather unknown organization which probably promised the team great things back then. Both that team and that organization they left us for are dead now...

After the CS 1.6 team left us, Overload Gaming went very bold and decided to attract one of the strongest Counter-Strike: Source teams the Dutch scene had to offer. With a lot of faith and high expectations the team performed great for Overload in the ESL Professional Series, defeating all its opponents and taking the number one position in the final ranking. However all great things must come to an end, and the CS:S team reached that point way too fast for my liking. Just a few days after the DOK LAN, in which the team performed sublimely, lineup changes lead to inactivity of the team.

The inactivity of the CS:S team was followed by another sad moment in our history - the disbanding of our Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory team.

Most of us have heard the saying "The bigger they are, the harder they fall". Overload Gaming has been growing ever since our foundation in 2004, and everything which has a start, must have an end. However that end is not upon us, in the next few months I will do my very best to restore Overload Gaming to our past glory. 2009 is a good year to shine again!

I will not say this again, but i didn't give cheat directly to them. s for cheating, i do not support cheating at a competition level at all, what they did, i cannot begin to understand. Comptetition gaming should be about honesty, respect and skill, that is why i didn't make a problem abou me leaving since i took the responsability upon myself, however I want to stress that i don't support cheating in any way on a competition level and since OVERLOAd is on that level i don't support cheating within the organisation at any point.
I am the founder of the organisation and I made it big together with sainted therefor I always was and always will be the biggest fan of my organisation, my hear lies here, however due to these circumstances i understand it can never return to how it used to be, but after rain comes sunshine so I know the organisation will come stronger out of this.
