CDC 5 as 'dream' breakthrough for OVERLOAd?
So, CDC5 being announced in December and both ET and COD4 of us going, a new website released and an active newscrew WITH live coverage from CDC5. Could this be the dreamstart for OVERLOAd gaming?
Let's face the facts, our et team, old timers in the scene, has been at 3 of the 4 CDC series, improving it's prestations at each event, hoping to do better this time, has TONS of experience, not only online, but also offline, probably the ET team that has gone to the most amount of LANs as a team (CDC series, FOM,...) will they make a stand at CDC5? I hope so!

Than watching to COD4, they've been together at the acer challenge, they've shown their worth there and they are practicing like some crazy chipmonkeys as we speak!
With them being the underdogs at the event, having a bootcamp right before it and featuring at Networkingday in the Netherlands in 3 weeks, can they make it happen? We certainly hope so!
What are you guys' opinions?

A breakthrough to what? Its not anyone outside the W:ET scene cares about its developments, and within the W:ET scene there is not much to achieve. In CoD4 there is a lot to achieve, but the scene is very unstable right now, which might mean CoD4 will die a premature death. However the upcoming European version of the Cyber Evolution League looks very promising, so there are some chances there.
For the rest, the ESL Professional Series is one of the main points of interest, seeing the ESL is backed by some major companies like Intel in the UK and Germany, and Fujitsu-Siemens here in the Benelux.

Anyway, this is not the stuff I want to talk about in public :P

CoD4 will die within 4 weeks, CoD5 is going to take the lead.

Well i'll cross my fingers for the ET team but still. If the mamut.si team are going its going to be very hard. They are in my eyes perhaps not the best team out there now, but they definitely got the nessarcy lan experience to take the first place.

adizz if u look at their performance lately in both ec and other cups (3v3 AND 6v6) it seems like there is a total change of leadership going on in the ET scene, I sincerely hope our team will be one of those leaders, as they have been for 2 years now, time will tell.
