The Antwerp eSports Festival is a semiannual competitive gaming event hosted by GameVibes, the company behind the Antwerp Aces eSports team and previously community website TeK-9 Networks. As the name of the event suggests, it takes place in Antwerp, Belgium - at the "polyvalent" location Stuurboord, which is a renovated hangar.

This year the event is expanding itself to also feature Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. This expansion can be attributed to the effort the W:ET scene has put into uniting a large list of attendees. The man which should get most attribution however is flag

krosan, who has put a tremendous amount of effort into getting the game in the spotlight for the event.

ESL ENC to feature Dutch stop

The upcoming season of the Electronic Sport League's European Nation Championship, in which players join up to represent their country in a major competition including LAN Finals, will feature an offline event in The Netherlands.

Details are still very scarce, but expect to hear more from the ESL soon. One thing which is already made public is the prize-purse the ESL ENC has on offer: 120.000 euros, sponsored by ASUS.

The following games will be featured in the ESL ENC:
- Counter-Strike 1.6
- Warcraft 3
- FIFA 2010
- Counter-Strike: Source
- Counter-Strike 1.6 FEMALE
- Quake LIVE

EMS season season VI - ET, CoD4, Quake Live

Recently the Electronic Sports League has announced the sixth season of the ESL Major Series, which is perhaps the most prominent online competition in Europe. The ESL also had good news in store for the Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory scene, as they will be raising the prize-purse to 750 euro. Meanwhile the prize-money for Quake Live 4on4 TDM is lowered from 1000 to 750 euros. Call of Duty 4 also makes its return, sporting a 1000 euro prize pool.

The ESL will be releasing more details about the upcoming EMS season in the next few weeks.

The-Reality hosts NK Gaming 2010 preliminaries

The NK Gaming has announced that The Reality X will be hosting preliminaries for the NK Gaming of 2010. The NK Gaming is a Dutch national championship hosted by the e-SportsBond featuring the following PC games:

- Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne
- Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
- Trackmania Nations Forever

The Overload Gaming Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare team will be participating and hopes to secure themselves a position.

pstarZ adds Quakelive

pstarZ gaming have entered the Quake scene and today announced the addition of several former Betsson Voodoo Gaming players, who will be forming a brand new TDM team.

A part of their new team deathmatch line-up are BVG and FRONT players Kyle "Silencep" Mooren, Mike "Razorx" Jeurissen, Yuri "Frozen" Romanov and Anton "Cooller" Singov, who recently placed 5-8th at the Intel Extreme Masters in Dubai and is one of the most respected names in Quake duel. The feared Russian player will however continue to represent Mousesports in duel games and only play TDM games for pstarZ.

Completing the team's TDM roster is Nikola "vuduu" Scekic, who represented Serbia in the Quake Nations Cup back in Quake III.

The Netherlands faces flag

Poland tonight in the Quarter Finals of the ClanBase NationsCup XII. During the last NC, both teams lost their matches in the Quarter Finals, Poland versus flag

Belgium (two to four) and The Netherlands versus flag

Germany (zero to four), it will be a relief for at least one of these two teams to continue on to the semi finals.

The Netherlands fields two Overload Gaming - Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory players: joop and perfo. It is not sure whether both will be playing tonight.

It has long been quiet around the MGC known as Fatgames, especially in consideration with Enemy Territory. After dropping the team now known as flag

Impact gaming to focus on a splendid CoD4 CC5 performance, nothing has been heard from Fatgames anymore. But now they're back as announced before with both CoD 1 and CoD 2 teams!
Alas, that is not all they have in store for us, because Fatgames also decided to, once again, give our beloved game another chance. So with pride, they present you with their new ET team:

twnz:I'm happy to start playing under FatGames name, we ain't together for a long time, but we surelly stay together for a longer time. We got a nice team, and we got some nice pracc results. We'll attend ETmasters and CC6, and hopefully further events.

The team is currently signed up for the prestigious ETMasters tournament in which they want to show their worth and they are planning to go and do the same at CC6 as well. Besides that, the team is hoping on a spot in the coming EC or otherwise qualify for it through the coming OC.

Team Netherlands now wanted something else. It's a fresh start with new faces. flag

Lawtje has been crowned as Captain of the Dutch NationsCup XII team. He wanted something else as the other years, he wanted to give some upcoming talent the chance to proove theirselves. "Teamplay and teamspirit is the key to succes." he said, so it had to be a team which could adapt to all players. This also had to be an active team which practiced alot. So this should be the perfect lineup to put the Netherlands on the map!

Crossfire ET Masters

As announced Wednesday the 14th, there have been two tournaments held by Impact Gaming and Crossfire. After a short conversation in the evening, both organisations came to the conclusion to partner up and bring you one very big and awesome tournament right to the gates! With a prize money pot of 500,- Euros and additional prizes this is bound to be one of the greatest tournaments for ET as of yet!

Participants: Not limited
Divisions: at least 2
Map Pool: Bremen, delivery, goldrush, radar, supply in their most recent version. Besides that, the community votes for a 6th map (more details at sign up.)
Also, there will be atleast one cup running different maps, including frostbite, adlernest, oasis, warbell, snatch, secret weapon and every other map that comes to your mind.
Groups: up to 8
Teams each group: 8
Sign ups so far: 66 teams

Get your hands on the prize pool of 500,- will be distributed to the teams running on top of the Masters Division:

1st 300,- + a 16 slot gameserver for 12 months

2nd 125,- + a 16 slot gameserver for 6 months

3rd 75,- + a 16 slot gameserver for 3 months
The winners will get paid bar on the next crossfire LAN event.

The top of the second division will receive the following prizes:
